Great milestones in open-source projects usually begin with a vision to modernize, simplify, and scale.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that we have officially merged the fc-refactoring branch into main! This marks a massive architectural leap forward for the platform: the complete refactoring of Hubleto's React UI from class-based components to functional components.

With this milestone achieved, we are setting our sights on our next big destination: the release of the very first alpha version for Hubleto 2.

What Was fc-refactoring All About?

Since Hubleto’s inception, its user interface relied heavily on traditional, class-based React components. While class components served us reliably well, the modern React ecosystem has evolved significantly. Functional components, combined with React Hooks, have become the gold standard for writing clean, reusable, testable, and highly performant frontend code.

The fc-refactoring branch was born out of a desire to rid the codebase of legacy patterns, reduce boilerplate code, and leverage modern React paradigms, ensuring a much smoother and more intuitive experience for developers and contributors alike.

Merged to main: Looking Ahead to Hubleto 2 Alpha 1

Merging fc-refactoring into the main development branch means the dust is settling, and the codebase is entering a hyper-stable phase.

We are now officially gearing up to roll out the first alpha release of Hubleto 2. This upcoming release represents a modernized, unified, and future-proof foundation for building and scaling custom business applications, CRM pipelines, and ERP workflows.

Future Activities: Making Hubleto More Integrated

With the UI foundation fully modernized, our roadmap for Hubleto 2 and beyond focuses heavily on connectivity and ecosystem integration.

ERP systems do not live in a vacuum. To make Hubleto the ultimate command center for modern businesses, our upcoming development cycle will prioritize deeper integrations with external services. We are working on expanding our webhook architecture, streamlining API connectors, and building out native integrations with leading third-party tools—ranging from payment gateways and communication platforms to cloud storage and marketing automation suites.

Our goal is to make it seamless to connect Hubleto with the rest of your tech stack, transforming it into a fully synchronized hub for your entire enterprise.
